PPL meter collar rule
Partial
What does Pennsylvania PPL meter collar rule do? Bars customer-owned meter collar adapters between the utility meter and the meter base. They are allowed only on a separate customer-owned meter base. Distributed energy systems connecting through a collar need an alternating current isolation device, and local inspectors must approve the collar.
