How Connecticut adopts the IBC
Same as for the whole State Building Code: joint adoption by the State Building Inspector and Codes and Standards Committee, 45-day Legislative Regulation Review Committee review under CGS 29-252b, then effective on posting.
Cycle. Roughly triennial; CGS 29-252 sets an 18-month revision target after model code publication.
