How Illinois adopts the IFC
The State Fire Marshal amends 41 Ill. Adm. Code 100 by administrative rule; the current NFPA 101 edition (2015) took effect Jan 1, 2020, replacing the 2000 edition. Rules pass through JCAR review. No pending update was found.
Cycle. Irregular; 2000 edition replaced by 2015 edition in 2020
